Hello, I'm Kat, a seasoned Data Science and Research Consultant with over a decade of experience across healthcare, retail, travel, and hospitality sectors. My passion lies in blending research and data science to better understand customer behavior, ultimately driving more effective and ethical marketing strategies in healthcare and beyond. I have a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics and am currently pursuing my PhD in Business with a concentration in Marketing.

Data Science
Data Cleaning & Mining: Experience gathering and analyzing a variety of dataset including medical claims, transactional, third party Experian, demographic, and email response. This included organizing raw data, removing inaccuracies, and formatting it to guarantee high-quality inputs for subsequent analysis and modeling.
R Programming: Proficient in using R across a variety of analyses and managing code using GitHub. Version control is an integral part of my workflow, providing a reliable framework that ensures consistency and repeatability in our analytic projects.
Custom Segmentation: Expertise in creating custom segmentation models that artfully blend scientific rigor with practical applicability, ensuring the results are not only statistically significant but also strategically actionable and relevant to business objectives.
Regression Analysis: Skilled in employing both linear and logistic regression techniques to uncover key drivers of decision-making and to predict behaviors. These methods are particularly effective in identifying customers or patients most likely to benefit from specific services, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing targeted interventions.
Strategic Client Engagement
Project Management: Leading the entire project lifecycle, starting from drafting detailed project proposals to ensuring successful project delivery. Experience managing vendor relationships to secure necessary resources and ensure that all external contributors uphold our quality standards.
Client Presentations: Crafting compelling slides that succinctly convey the results of our analysis. Approach combines clear visual storytelling with narrative techniques to make complex data accessible and engaging. I aim to present analysis in a way that is not only easy to understand, but also actionable, helping clients see the practical implications of the data.
Research
Survey Design: Expert in managing the full lifecycle of survey design, from collaborating with clients to define business objectives to crafting tailored survey questionnaires that align with strategic goals.
Survey Methodology: Skilled in developing a diverse array of studies, such as, brand positioning, attitudes and usage, creative testing, A/B testing, and competitor research. Hands-on experience with advanced statistical methodologies such as: Cluster analysis, Regression, MaxDiff and Conjoint. Managed projects across a variety of departments: Brand, strategy, marketing, consumer insights, public relations, and communications.
Analysis: Proficient in programming across various survey platforms. A proponent of efficiency, developed standardized R scripts to streamline analysis processes.
Research Ambassador: Promoting research initiatives within client teams, delivering education on the agency’s expanding research capabilities, and ensuring that all research activities uphold established standards and methodologies. Led the mentoring and training of staff on survey research methodologies and analysis techniques, enhancing team capabilities and ensuring high standards of research quality and insight generation.
